The University of Chicago Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) is a student organization dedicated to promoting community among its members and a diverse educational environment at the Law School.

To foster a lively dialogue on issues relevant to Asian Pacific Americans, we frequently invite legal practitioners, professors, and jurists to speak at the Law School and to engage with our student body.

We also facilitate alumni mentorship programs and host employer receptions to support the professional development of our members. We serve as a network for Asian Pacific American students and professionals at the Law School and in the greater Chicago area.

Lastly, we organize social events, participate in local legal clinics and community organizations, provide academic support, and help with the recruitment of future Asian Pacific American law students. We create a warm community in order to help students adjust to life at the Law School and to thrive in any capacity.

We welcome University of Chicago law students of any background to join APALSA.

To reach us, please contact apalsa@law.uchicago.edu. We look forward to hearing from you!
